Brace yourselves, there’s a lot of ground to cover. Now I know we say this in a lot of our episodes, but this month’s topic has been one of our most requested topics to discuss since we started the podcast in May 2019. It is also quite a taboo subject across multiple generations in our respective communities, and if you haven’t guessed it - we’re talking about Financial Literacy in the South Pacific. Joining us today to discuss this, is a guest - that I feel I can’t even write enough descriptive words to describe how much he has done for our community and how much he continues to do. He is a man of many hats, with a career background in corporate sales and marketing management, one of the founding members of Fiji Youth Initiative - FYI a meke dance group created in response to requests from Fijian-Australian young people who wanted to learn more about their cultural heritage and most recently alongside MC Trey hosting ‘VeiTalanoa 2022 - Fiji Diaspora Community Conservation Series’ live stream, we’re joined by Uncle Sevu Waqa!
