Workers across the auto and service industries have recently made headlines with successful labor organizing campaigns and contract wins. Recent polls are also showing a growing popularity of unions among Americans. Still, there is considerable resistance to stronger labor organizing in politics, business, and the judiciary.

What are some examples of increased worker representation in the U.S.? Can we really consider the current environment to be a “Great Reset” for the American labor movement? What are the legal barriers to increasing membership in U.S. unions? Has the U.S. labor movement been inspired by European models of workers’ rights?
