From 'Baseball Isn't Boring' (subscribe here): Many thought Craig Counsell's $8 million-a-year deal with the Cubs last season was going to make managers' salaries skyrocket. Since then, however, the closest anyone has come is Alex Cora's deal that pays him just more than $7 million per season. Other than that, there isn't a manager who makes as much as $5 million.
