Ever felt left out or found yourself relegated to the “third wheel?” Quite often the “odd one out” finds themself being leveraged to help the other two succeed. Throughout the ages within Christianity, you can identify three entities that constantly juggle this precarious balance of relationship: God, humanity, and the Earth. This is especially true when it comes to the restoration of Hope as presented each year during the season of Advent. Quite often the Earth is left out as Christians everywhere celebrate the redemption of humanity with God and the hope of the second coming of Christ through songs and worship. But what would happen if we were to shift our views of this trilogy of God, humanity and the Earth and embrace a new perspective? Join Pastor Tony Minear as he examines a new sense of Hope to be found simply by shifting our understanding of how we see ourselves, God, and all of creation. Discover the profound impact that evolutionary biology has made on how we respond the “odd one out” …Earth. Learn how you can restore a significant sense of hope not only for yourself, but for the children and youth of today, and future generations to come to make love real for all creation. Recorded live at Beatitudes Church in Phoenix, AZ on 12/4/20 Preaching: Rev. Tony Minear, Ph.D. Scripture Reader: Deni Nordmeyer Scripture Reference: Heb.11:1; Rev. 21:1 If you like what you hear, consider donating at: https://www.beatitudeschurch.org/online-giving
