The Yankees comeback after the weather delay to defeat the Orioles. Even though the Yankees showed signs of struggling early, Josh Donaldson and the offense got things done late. They discussed Brendan's takeaways from night one of the NBA Playoffs, the rise of the Timberwolves with Anthony Edwards, the odds that the Warriors can pull off a big run, how the Nets-Celtics series will shape up, and how much trouble Trae Young and the Hawks can give the Heat. With the Mets and Yankees postseason aspirations, they need to conquer the weak teams they are playing right now. The Yankees, like the Chicago Cubs in Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, used the weather delay to rebound against the Orioles. Meanwhile, the Mets gave away a game to the Diamondbacks. The games that look like throwaways early in the season need to be won, otherwise either New York team may end up like the Knicks and miss the postseason because of early season defeats.
