Government - Should we vote?
Manage episode 459742821 series 3512026
The forms of government described in the OT and NT are such that there were no elections because the forms of government did not allow for common elections. This is why we see no commands to vote or not to vote. However, just because a topic is not directly addressed in Scripture does not mean that it is not addressed indirectly. As Jeremy said, “To neglect the privilege of voting would be, in my view, negligent and irresponsible. Those who are irresponsible about voting abdicate their voice in the process and should likewise limit their whining about the outcomes of government direction.”
