Eating a particular food does not make you holy. Not eating a particular food does not make you holy. So what does? God. In Crete, and in many churches today, there are ascetics. What? An ascetic is someone who thinks doing or not doing certain things is the path to holiness. Jeremy shows the fallacy of this position as Paul instructs Titus.
