When Kiki saw TRASH BOAT on stage at High 5ive Summer Fest in Stockholm, singer Tobias Duncan introduced one of their songs by saying that he doesn't identify with any gender and sexuality label. So we invited him to join the podcast and explore more deeply what it means to identify as a specific gender, the use of labels, and why we specify our pronouns or don't.

We will be releasing a sequel to this episode, discussing other aspects and intersections of our identities, which include music, subcultures, and beliefs.

Recorded on August 16th, 2022.

01:00 - TRASH BOAT singer Tobias Duncan's introduction
03:37 - Our identities
13:31 - Identity and labels
20:38 - Representation
28:01 - Weaponizing identities
40:59 - Pronouns
1:04:27 - What we've been listening to recently
