Preaching Conviction (vv. 51-53)
Mt. 23:37 “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often would I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing!
Ro. 8:7-8 7 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. 8 Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Jo. 6:44,65 44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.... 65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”
