The act of purging is cathartic for many people, whether physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. When your heart is troubled, some kind of pressure must be applied to rid it of that trouble. After everything is purged, the release of pressure and newfound elation is sweet. We have to go to God and ask for His grace and mercy in order to purge the trouble from our hearts.
