Tim and Susan have been married for thirty-two years. Together, they have filled various roles within their local church. During Susan’s time serving as the Family Pastor at their church, she and Tim led marriage retreats that helped build better communication between spouses and an understanding of how God created each uniquely. They both believe the growth and stretching in their marriage equips them to encourage other married couples that they too can overcome challenges. Tim and Susan have one grown daughter, a wonderful son-in-law, and three adorable granddaughters. When they aren’t working or engaged in ministry, they enjoy time spent with one another and with family. They make their home in central MN .
Susan is a speaker, mentor, five-time author, and pastor who has filled various roles within her church and community, including the federal and state prison settings. She is also the creator and founder of She Rises MN and hosts an annual women’s conference. Susan’s story of redemption has helped many find hope, healing, freedom, and the unfailing love of Jesus. Susan is also the host of the She Connects Podcast, where she connects with women in the online space.
