Punishments, bribes, ultimatums, timeouts, lectures, and grounding…aren’t gonna do the trick of getting the kids to listen – if they did we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
Society has taught us to think discipline and correcting is essential to parenting.
However, discipline isn’t essential to parenting.
Creating an environment where our children can thrive and fulfill their potential is actually what’s essential to parenting.
