As one of the most Christ-centered books in the Bible, Colossians highlights and celebrates the supremacy of Christ. Paul wrote Colossians to combat a strange mix of false teachings threatening the church, and asserts Christ as preeminent over all things, including the demonic powers behind these teachings. In addition, Paul shows the practical response of the believer to Christ’s supremacy in all of life, both personal and public.
