.....Ktrt’s or the root as it is known to listeners hosts a cast of character’s projecting out onto the airwaves from cellars, secret locations and mystery motels....there is a blind Dj weaving whimsical stories and high schoolers offering up a sonic feast.... The root is a station with multiple personalities and this is exactly what it’s founder strives for....curious to find out more I trekked out to ktrt’s single room studio and caught up with Don Ashford.
