Branlin Shockey is a storyteller. He most recently created the You Tube film 'Once We Were Wolves' featuring Cameron Hanes and Kip Fulks. Released a little over a month ago, at the time of this podcast it has over 800,000 views on You Tube. Raised in the outdoors, Branlin brings weaves his in-depth knowledge of hunting, conservation, and man's thirst for adventure with the ability to tell a compelling story. In this episode we dive into the inspiration behind 'Once We Were Wolves' and what he wanted to accomplish in this film. I speak with Branlin about how he developed his love for film-making, growing up the son of one of the most famous hunters in the world, and how he chose a different path for his life. In 'Once We Were Wolves' Branlin explores the essence of man's search for purpose in an increasingly noisy yet less fulfilling society.
