In Podcast Episode 291, “The Lord Cares about the Entirety of a Person,“ Kim discusses the concern the Lord showed for his prophet Elijah’s physical, mental, and emotional needs. So often Christians have a tendency to be so focused on looking to meet a spiritual need in others and miss the opportunities to be the hands and feet of Christ. May this lesson spur each listener to look for opportunities to meet the physical, mental, emotional, as well as spiritual needs of others.

Our focal passage for this episode is 1 Kings 19:5-8 with 5 as the focal verse:

5 Then he lay down and slept under the broom tree. But as he was sleeping, an angel touched him and told him, “Get up and eat!”
