God’s design for his kingdom is wonderfully diverse and every church can contribute to this beautiful picture of how Christ’s kingdom has broken into this age. Jamaal and his lovely wife Amber have 5 beautiful children: Nia, Josiah, Kayla, Micah, and Judah. He is a Chicago native, now serving in Louisville as the Lead Pastor of Sojourn Midtown. He holds an MDiv and DEdMin from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Black Church Leadership and is one of the authors of In Church As It Is In Heaven.
