In today's episode, Maryanne speaks to photographer Ryland Hormel who travelled across the United States from Alaska to Florida, asking people "When do you feel free?".

The result: a collection of over 100 hand-written responses, alongside photographs that he has put in his new book When Do You Feel Free. Ryland’s work as a photographer, designer, storyteller and sociological artist is grounded in sharing the humanity of the world. In this episode, they talk about: - the creative process - using film and photography as a tool for connection to both self and others - what we can learn about our own perspective of freedom through listening to others - why storytelling is the key to great joy - why following your gut leads to incredible transformation - how you can find your purpose during times of chaos Find out more about Ryland here: https://rylandhormel.com/ ------------------
