dattrax: Hello Fellow House Freaks!! Welcome! Found this old, probably 6-8yrs old test mix that I've never put on my Podomatic app. It's hawt!! It was an all vinyl record mix. I know because I had a failed experiment where I recorded almost a crate (100 records) in cracks of time between family and work for 1.5mths.
Then I realised that the sound quality was garbage and I couldn't even use them. LMAO.
Now that my Traxtor S4, 3rd GEN controller has a wicked built-in soundcard, I can muster the time-consuming energy to record most of my 4.5 crates left.
I've managed to get rid of it by selling or giving away around 30 crates of house music. Yes, Jim and I were "Black Crack" addicts!! That was our name for record buying addiction.
Jim hates getting rid of stuff and has the space. He probably has about 65 crates because he loved records outside of just house like me.
For every mix that is up here, there were anywhere from 3 to 12 previous test mixes that weren't good enough for the feel and direction that I was aiming for.
