Police Reform
Here is my solution for hiring future and current police officers
1. All policemen must have a full mental evaluation background check before hiring and being accepted into the police academy.
(Regular mental checkups are required to continue law enforcement career.)
2. All applicants applying as law enforcement must have a minor or major degree in psychology, law, and communication.
(They must know the law to be able to enforce it.)
If they don’t have it they must go back to school to acquire the certification to continue their career as law enforcement.
3. Policemen also need to have five-point system established where he or she that violate citizens right or out of line they get point or points on there record as an officer. Once they get to five they are banned from being cop or law enforcement position ever again in the US.
4. All future and current police officers are required to sign a federal contract stating as a public official if they are found guilty of any wrongdoing or police brutality that leads to someone’s demise or unfair incarceration. They forfeit all personal and family benefits afford to them as public officials (pension, insurance & discounts) effective immediately and must serve a minimum of twenty-five years to life in prison.
