The Orville, more like Star Trek than real Star Trek. And so it can to pass I finally came around to watching The Orville. Debuting in 2017 I’m certainly late to the party. But I’m very happy to see such refreshing content in general. With current Star Trek T.V. shows having a warped and dystopian view of this legacy I.P. The Orville captures both the heart of Star Trek and the chemistry of cast and well written characters. Sure it’s a parody but done with respect. More like a love letter to Star Trek.
