INTune Radio CIC were delighted to host Cancer Research UK's Race For Life event in Shrewsbury's Quarry Park in June 2023.
Volunteer Dale hosted the event, and our volunteers used the bandstand as our base to gain truly heartfelt recorded messages from runners and walkers - truly inspiring!
It was an amazing day, and we can't thank CRUK enough for allowing ITR to be part of it in small way for the local community.
We couldn't sum up any better than CRUK's Area Events Manager Richard Healey:
"Thank you so much for attending, Dale was absolutely amazing as our host, one of the best I have had this season for sure! And it was really lovely to see the participants talking to you and the team, it created a fantastic atmosphere on the event site. I will be sure to try and listen in on Thursday and will share within the team also."
