Of all the known serial killers in history, Ted Bundy has always held a special place in our collective psyche. Most people probably picture serial killers as monsters lurking in shadows. The reality is much more frightening. Theodore Robert Bundy not only tricked his victims, he ultimately tricked us all. He charmed us into being interested in him, despite his brutality, his necrophilia. The reality is that serial killers are the least suspicious among us. A quote often attributed to Ted, but is more of an amalgamation of different statements by him: "We are your sons. We are your husbands. We are everywhere. And there will be more of your children dead tomorrow."
