Genia, also known as GéNIA, is a Ukrainian-born concert pianist turned composer-yogi who has achieved success in her musical career. She has released solo piano albums and performed in sold-out London shows. Her music has been featured in various TV series, including "Killing Eve" and "Cold Feet," and can be heard on radio stations like Classic FM and BBC Radio. Genia's background includes a lineage of pianists, and she received training from her great-grandmother, Regina Horowitz, who was the sister of pianist Vladimir Horowitz.
She has also established a UK charity called the 'Support Kharkiv Foundation' to aid citizens affected by the war in Ukraine.
Genia is known for her innovative approach to music and her passion for yoga, which led her to become a qualified yoga teacher and establish the Piano-Yoga® studio. Her method, Piano-Yoga®, isp aimed at helping musicians experience the joy of piano playing holistically and mindfully. Genia's music is described as evoking grounding and mindfulness, making it relevant in the current climate.
