Leadership America welcomes Nancy Lieberman – Hosted by Scott Murray & Angel Carlton.
An ultimate pleasure to speak with Nancy Lieberman, the Collegiate All-America, WNBA Hall of Fame basketball player, not to mention NBA Assistant Coach with the Sacramento Kings and the first woman to coach a professional men’s basketball team, the Texas Legends.
Nancy opens her enormous heart during this interview as she shares her humble beginnings and how that inspired her to start her journey in making a difference for inner city youth, establishing the Nancy Lieberman Foundation. She shares the importance of mentorship and tells personal stories of her mentors, World Boxing Champion, Muhammad Ali, Billionaire Warren Buffet, and Hall of Fame Collegiate Basketball Coach, Pat Summitt. Even though her Hall of Fame career is behind her, her legacy continues to be created in underprivileged neighborhoods throughout cities across America, building DreamCourts in collaboration with people like Baseball Hall of Famer, Derek Jeter and World Tennis Champion, Martina Navratilova.
“Lady Magic”, as Nancy has long been referred to, is indeed, a true champion of change! She wakes up inspired every day with a passion to help others, despite the challenges of the pandemic, as she continues to encourage us all to be a victor, not a victim and to always chase greatness.

(Recorded August 2020)
