Ron Hunter, author of the memoir 'Angel Finally Found His Wings,' shares his inspiring story of overcoming unimaginable challenges, including sex trafficking and homelessness. He emphasizes the importance of faith, hope, and trust in overcoming trauma and not letting it define one's life. Ron grew up in Brooklyn, New York, in a close-knit community and discovered his LGBTQ identity at a young age. He discusses the manipulation and abuse he experienced at the hands of a Boy Scout leader and the impact it had on his mental state. Despite the hardships, Ron's resilience and determination shine through in his journey of survival and finding his voice. Ronald Hunter shares his journey from being a victim of child sex trafficking to becoming a survivor and advocate. He discusses how he was groomed and manipulated by his abuser, and how he eventually found the courage to escape. Ronald also talks about his decision to join the military and how it helped him turn his life around. He shares the challenges he faced while writing his book and the impact it has had on others who have experienced similar traumas.
