Ancestral trauma (predominately in communities with displaces black and brown bodies) is the cause of many troubling thoughts and action in our present life. These thoughts and actions can lead to serious mental and physical health issues preventing us from living our best fullest life. Artistic expression is my favorite liberation technique to nip these toxic chains in the butt. Hang out with me while I share a poem I wrote called Dolor, or Pain where I tackle victimhood. This poem and other tools of expression have supported my journey towards liberation from ancestral trauma.
