In this episode of "Living Well Together," Dr. Terry and Lisa welcome Brenda Smith, a dynamic and inspiring individual with a multifaceted life. Brenda, married to her playmate Mark, lives in Kettering with their two dogs. They have three grown children and several wonderful grandchildren who reside in Pennsylvania.
Brenda's journey brought her to Dayton as a 1st Sergeant in the Air Force Reserves. With a deep connection to the community, she has spent the past year serving as the Chamber Board President and is also a dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Fairborn. Her passion for community service is matched by her entrepreneurial spirit. Brenda owns and operates Quirky Bird, a toxin-free hair salon in Fairborn, which she opened in 2018.
An avid runner, Brenda has completed nine full marathons and enjoys running several times a week. Her commitment to health and wellness extends beyond her personal life to her professional endeavors. At Quirky Bird, she is dedicated to providing clients with the best services and products that support their health and beauty. After years of searching, Brenda found OWAY, a biodynamically grown and harvested product line from Bologna, Italy. A visit to the factory last March confirmed her belief in the product, which supports total wellness – a value she holds dear.
