LSU, Florida & Texas A&M Disappoint in SEC Week 1, Plenty of Other Teams Impress Us In Their Openers

On today's Locked On SEC, we recap all the action from Week 1 across the SEC as we had some great performances and massive disappointments. We start with LSU as they fall to USC on Sunday night in Las Vegas in a game where it felt like LSU dominated much of the night. But Brian Kelly's Tigers were not crisp down the stretch and it cost them. Also disappointing were the Florida Gators and Billy Napier who got embarrassed at home vs Miami. Lastly, Texas A&M had a lack of offense vs Notre Dame in College Station as the Aggies and Mike Elko took their first loss of the season.

Across the rest of the conference, we recap some of the special performances including Georgia's big win over Clemson; Alabama, Texas and Ole Miss all rolled over inferior opponents. Vanderbilt was perhaps the most surprising team in the SEC in Week 1 pulling off a monster overtime win over Virginia Tech, all aboard the Diego Pavia hype train. Also, Auburn looks like their offense could be strong with some talented freshmen receivers. Tennessee looked solid in Nico's home debut. Easy Week 1 wins for teams like Arkansas, Mizzou, Oklahoma and Mississippi State. And what was that, South Carolina, eeking out a home win vs Old Dominion?
