Culture add, not culture fit?

Is your hiring process static or dynamic? Just as business continuously grows and evolves to meet changing industry and client needs, so should the process for hiring evolve and adapt for organizations to remain relevant. In this episode of MasterStroke, co-host Monica Enand discusses the mindset that CEOs should have when thinking about evolving the business and culture through its hiring process.

Sejal asks Monica a very profound question regarding the mindset of a hiring manager… “Why should we be focused on hiring for a culture add versus a culture fit?” This question captures the essence of all leaders when making a hiring decision. Should the focus be on the ‘existing culture - culture fit’ or should we focus on where ‘we are going - culture add?’
