Andere goden kunnen niets, maar onze God kan doen wat Hij wil. God heeft het er maar druk mee in de Bijbel, met andere goden. Deze goden zijn beperkt, zo leert deze psalm ons. Ze horen niets en zien niets, zijn doof en blind. Maar wie is onze God dan? En waar vinden we vandaag de dag nog andere, valse goden?
