The pain of staying miserable is stronger than the pull of going to something that is pleasurable. -Steve Rupp

Imagine spending years - maybe even your entire life - dedicated to something, only to realize it’s not where you need to be?

It can be disheartening and confusing to invest so much time and energy into something that has essentially become your identity, only to feel a call to something else entirely.

The struggle of transitioning into something that brings joy can feel overwhelming.

How do you begin to explore new directions? How do you know it's time to pursue something else? How do you dig deep into who you are to find out what you truly want to do?

In this episode, acclaimed real estate coach Steve Rupp joins me to talk about how he made the life changing transition from selling real estate to coaching, how he found out where his true passion lies and how he’s pursuing it.

We also talk about what it means to never stop learning and the importance of actively educating ourselves.

Three Things You’ll Learn In This Episode

-Academics vs. experience

There has been an age-long debate as to which is more important between academics or experience. Is one really better than the other? Do we need both?

-The importance of professionalism

First impressions count. How does professionalism and dressing play a part in achieving success?

-Travel vs. education

Can we use travel to educate ourselves and find similarities instead of differences? Can it help us be curious instead of scared?
