It’s a lot of talk about how black love just doesn’t seem to exist anymore based on the 70% of married black couples who filled for divorced in 2018. In today’s society finding that special someone is a task as the dating scene has changed. The access to social media and dating sites have changed they way people approach finding worthy candidates. I’ve been told that being friends first is a must as you begin to explore that special someone. Respect, Communication and Honesty are key components to a successful relationship. We can learn a lot from a couple who’s been married for 30 years. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to sit down with a couple who breaks down some keys to a successful marriage. It’s a treat for me because their family and they don’t hold anything back as we discuss their 30 year journey. My hope is after listening to their story it will motivate other couples to hang in there and put in the necessary work needed to maintain a healthy relationship. #realtalkpodcast
