I sent a quick email back to Emmy Gray the other day, boosting her up for handling a very complex client communication with poise and clarity. It’s filled with a lot of emotions and complexities and pressure from all angles — internal and from our clients. But what I didn’t realize was that the one little email acknowledging her written communication went further for her than I could have imagined.
