On this week's episode of Rising Giants we have the pleasure of speaking with Tania Unsworth, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Seekers Spirits - Cambodia's first premium gin distillery. Having previously worked in the hospitality industry in Europe and Cambodia before switching over to spirits, Tania co-founded Seekers with her husband Marco with a dream of producing small batch spirits inspired by the Mekong Region. Since inception in 2018, Seekers has grown to become a household name in the country and recognized for their locally sourced, bold flavors in major spirit competitions around the world.

What we dive into:

- Tania's incredible journey transitioning from the hospitality industry to pursue her dream of creating a spirits distillery.

- How Tania and her husband built the core Seekers team from around the world, locally sourced their ingredients, and ultimately created the spirits Cambodians enjoy today.

- How the pandemic drove a strategic shift in the business focusing on both domestic and international audiences for their spirits.
