Caleb was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia. In his teenage years, he moved to France where he was completely cut off from the Church. His host family warned him against meeting with the missionaries so he had to find creative ways to maintain contact. In March 2020, Caleb moved to the United States right before COVID-19. He found himself stuck in the United States, unable to return to Australia until the lockdown had ended.
