Kevin Jones (Instagram: Blactiquing) collects items that make people uncomfortable, and that is entirely on purpose. Racism in the antique world is nothing new and still thrives across the country. On this podcast, we are always learning and making changes where needed. This week Kevin speaks frankly about race, oppression, and antiques with hateful legacies, and his mission to liberate them. Jill also opens up about her own experiences with racism. Blactiquing, to Kevin, is the intentional process of collecting, preserving and sharing stories of Black experiences.
