Walton Ford is an American artist, painter and print-maker born in 1960. He is known for his large-scale watercolors inspired by 18th or 19th century naturalists like Barraband or Audubon. Hi artwork explores the relationships between humans and nature. He builds narratives out of old stories involving animals in history and subvert them in contemporary interpretations.
