Last year, consumers’ values and shopping habits transformed drastically. As brick-and-mortar establishments were put on pause and the world went online, we reached out to our community, evaluating their needs during these unprecedented times. Our mission was to find a solution that made a real difference to small businesses.
The seed for the Small Business Shopping Directory and Shop 1 in 5 Pledge was born – and it took shape fast! Within 48 hours, we had 600 subscribers and excellent press coverage, which gave us the confidence (and the rankings) to invest $100,000, elevating the Small Business Shopping Directory and consumer experience to the highest of standards, boosting member benefits – not to mention their bottom lines – in the process.
