Congressman Jeff Miller (R-FL) chairman of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs dropped by “Kilmeade and Friends” and talked to Brian about the Veteran Affairs department and how their culture is to move someone who isn’t doing their job rather than being fired.
Rep. Miller explained that their has to be accountability and because the federal employee unions are against his bill giving the Secretary the ability to fire employees the Democrats are fighting it. We can’t change the culture in the Veterans Affairs Department culture overnight, it is going to take a concerted, bipartisan fashion.
