In today's episode, we speak to Chimére Sweeney, long COVID storyteller, author, speaker, consultant, and advocate, about living with long COVID as a Black woman and the challenges of being diagnosed, accessing quality health care, respectful research inclusion, and access to healthcare treatment.

Chimére tells us her story about developing COVID and then long COVID symptoms, disability, and losing her job as a public school teacher, a career she loved. She also shares her upcoming documentary sharing the stories of the Black long COVID experience.

We hope to share awareness about the importance of health equity for long COVID health care access and quality of life through this episode.
