Dr. Gunia is a Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Programs at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
His research focuses on simple, theoretically motivated interventions to help people act more ethically, negotiate more effectively, and improve their lives by improving their sleep.
Dr. Gunia recently wrote a great review article titled “Sleep and Deception” that was published in 2022 in the journal, Current Opinion in Psychology, which explores the indirect relationships and the direct relationships between unhealthy sleep and unethical decision making with a primary emphasis on deception.
