That is why we are so greatful to have legendary singer and songwriter, John Mandeville, to this episode of the Music for the Soul Podcast. John shares the story of what led him to writing music as a child and how he created a song that we have talked about a few times on this show, Free. He also talks about how he uses his montra, Living Forward, in both his songwriting and daily life.
As we begin to live forward, we begin to call upon God's wisdom, strength and empathy to help us take those next steps in our lives and work to influence what is right infront of us for the better.
Who is John Mandeville?
John Mandeville is one of Christian music's most acclaimed songwriters, writing and producing hits for artists such as Avalon, 4HIM, Point of Grace, and Tammy Trent, among others. Prior to his 2009 solo hit “Glorify,” Mandeville was awarded six certified Gold Records, wrote multiple #1 songs, and was nominated for three Dove Awards for Song of the Year with “Jesus Will Still Be There,” which was included in CCM Magazine’s 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music.
