Manage episode 431722445 series 3562563
On Aug. 14, 2014, an uprising began in Dellwood and Ferguson, MO, after the shooting death of 17-year-old Michael Brown by a Ferguson police officer. The civil unrest in the city was amplified by young people on social media and rippled across the world.
Over the last 10 years, the city of Ferguson (and parts of North County) has experienced many shifts and changes. We discuss what happened and where we are today with community leaders, business owners, residents, and activists. After the smoke settled, did we leave with lessons or scars?
