On today's show, we are first joined by Brad Cauthron with Piedmont-Cartersville Medical Center to discuss their crash scene enactment on the campus of the Bartow County College and Career Academy. The goal is to show students what it looks like for first repsonders to arrive on the scene of a fatal accident. With prom season here, this annual outreach by the Trauma Center at Piedmont-Cartesrville Medical Center is meant to get teens to think twice about their decisions when getting behind the wheel. Then in the final hour, we spend a few mintues with Billy Fleetwood, the Executive Director of the Pettit Environmental Preserve to talk about the 2nd Saturday Open Hike and more. The Preserve has a mission for nature conservancy and education and so they customize field trips thorughout the year for educators to bring students out into nature. Also, with Earth Day coming up, they wanted to invite the community to attend the 2nd Annual Earth Day festivities on the grounds of the preserve on Saturday, April 20.
