Episode 93 of the Steelers Sanctuary Podcast is out. This week we start with some Steelers news. Former corner Cam Sutton was released by the Detroit Lions today. He is still being sought by police over a domestic violence charge. It’s a sad story for a former highly regarded player in Pittsburgh. Also in the news the Steelers hired defensive backs coach Anthony Midget this week.
Next we do a deep dive into the team’s center position. They seemed to have backed themselves into a corner now that all the good centers have been signed in free agency. Pittsburgh almost certainly has to draft one in the first two rounds. Not signing a veteran could come back to haunt them.
Wide reciever rumors are next topic. Lots of rumors Omar Khan is big game hunting for a replacement to Diontae Johnson. Names like Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, and Terry McLaurin have been tossed around.
