Hello and welcome to Take Your Time, a Persona podcast in which hosts Jonathon Dornbush and Tom Marks are playing through Persona 3 Reload week by week along with the in-game calendar. On episode 11 of the Persona 3 Reload playthrough this season, the hosts cover the events of June 23-29, which includes a week's worth of free time, but with a handful of important character moments and progression. Plus, our first full Social Link discussion!
Tom and Jonathon dig into the week's activities with a breakdown of the day and evening free time opportunities the week held. That includes further digging into the new hangout opportunities at the dorm, a bunch of progression in our various social link lines, and more. We also get to discuss some important scenes featuring Akihiko and Shinjiro, as well as Yukari and Fuuka. We take a look at how relationships are impacted, plus the teases for the upcoming weeks, including exams in just a few weeks.
But the week also gives us the opportunity to revisit Tartarus and check in on our continued thoughts, including more than a few tangents that left even us confused. Plus, now that Tom and Jonathon have both completed the Kenji social link and maxed out that friendship, we discuss what we thought of the plotline, its place in the game, and how we're feeling about it in comparison to the wider social link opportunities.
