Make sure you check out Part 1 of this topic at https://pod.link/845230843/episode/d9d2540d29bb691ffe013116420423ba We’re back with M.R. Osbourne to talk about the profound mysteries and codes hidden in a William Blake painting and what it has to do with a cobbler who changed history. Jakob Böhme, a 16th-century German mystic and cobbler, developed a complex theological system that influenced everyone from William Blake to Karl Marx. Through his mystical insights and experiences, Böhme sought to explain the existence of evil and humanity’s path to reintegration with the divine. The conversation explores Böhme’s unique understanding of good and evil as necessary coexisting forces within creation, his concept of the “Dark World,” and his influence on later esoteric thinkers like Swedenborg and Hegel. Osbourne illuminates these complex ideas through the lens of Blake’s artwork, demonstrating how Blake visually represented Böhme’s principles of divine essence and spiritual transformation. Here’s a link to the Blake painting we discuss, The Allegory of the Spiritual Condition of Man: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/cd/William_Blake_%281757-1827%29_-_An_Allegory_of_the_Spiritual_Condition_of_Man_-_PD.27-1949_-_Fitzwilliam_Museum.jpg Buy the book: https://rosecirclebooks.com/published-books/ [https://feeds.soundcloud.com/stream/1944344543-jonathan-stewart-570041071-talk-gnosis-jakob-bohme-blake-art-mysticism-w-mr-osbourne.mp3]
