We spoke with Terry Marks, executive director of the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance about the SHINE MURAL FESTIVAL (now Nov. 8-17) and the opening exhibition 10/18 at The Morean. She also shared the resources and outreach efforts to national arts organizations to help our arts community.

In September, St. Petersburg Arts Alliance announced the 2024 recipients of the prestigious Individual Artist Grant, funded by the City of St. Petersburg’s Arts, Culture, and Tourism. Directed by Celeste Davis, the grant supports emerging and established artists in pursuing innovative and creative projects. This year, four exceptional artists have been selected for their outstanding vision and talent. The Individual Artist Grant offers financial support to artists pursuing ambitious projects and new creative directions. This year’s recipients were chosen from a highly competitive pool, showcasing exceptional talent and dedication.
