People pleasing behavior is a double edged sword…on one hand, it feels good to help and make people happy. On the other, it can lead to feelings of stress and overwhelm due to overcommitment or feeling like you’re always doing things for others but never yourself. And those of use with ADHD are prone to people pleasing.
